He has worked in healthcare and life sciences since 2010 and previously was a Partner at McKinsey & Company where he spent over a decade and led their Health & Life Science Investing Practice in Europe, specializing in supporting investor-backed health & life science tech businesses on their scale-up journeys.

Guy Emslie is the Chief Financial Officer at Velsera, bringing over 15 years of financial leadership experience in scaling technology-driven businesses. With a strong background in enterprise software, SaaS, and tech services, Guy has a proven track record of driving financial strategy and growth in dynamic, high-tech environments.
Julie Furt
Chief Customer Officer
Julie has extensive experience managing high-growth, high-performing global customer success teams and has worked with clients across a variety of industries, including life sciences, healthcare, and government. She has particular interest in nurturing partnerships with clients, customer success management, and customer value realization.
Jim Lee
Chief Commercial Officer
Jim is a passionate commercial officer with extensive experience in the life sciences sector, dedicated to driving advancements in patient care. Adept leader in operations and revenue generation within the dynamic and competitive life sciences industry. He has worked in healthcare and life sciences since 2008 and was Vice President of Sales at Clarivate where he spent over a decade and led their Health & Life Science Commercial Group globally, specializing in scaling customer facing teams.
John Patrick
Chief Technology Officer
JP brings extensive experience in product development, software engineering and secure cloud hosting to Velsera. Most recently, he was the EVP of engineering at TalentReef, and beforehand he was the SVP of product development and cloud hosting services at Bioclinica.
Nathan Baird
Chief Product Officer
Nate has deep experience in product portfolio strategy, financial analysis and next-generation sequencing product development, as well as an extensive academic research background in molecular genetics and genomics. Prior to joining Velsera, he worked at Illumina for more than eight years.
